If she said so

The Spark:
This was my revenge piece, but it wasn't the loud scream in your face kind. It was the sweet, smile while you watch kind. A reminder that just because she said it, doesn't make it true.

The Base:
I started with a soft blush - deceptively delicate. A surface that looked harmless, even quiet.

The First Marks:

Then came the green leaf lines, they sprawled across the canvas like little interruptions, the background noise of other people's chatter.

The Build:

Flowers began to creep in. Loose, playful, but already making their presence known.

The Shift:

The palette knife came out and suddenly the blooms weren't suggestions anymore - they were bold, sculptural, impossible to ignore. Stark white daises and unapologetic fuchsia florals. They layered over everything else, louder than the whispers underneath.

The Messy Middle:

At times I second guessed myself. That was part of it too - the overthinking that always happens when someone tries to shrink you with their words.

The Final Bloom:

By the end, the canvas was crowded, defiant, alive. A wall of blooms that refused to be dismissed.  and when you looked at it from a different angle it sparkled.

The Message:

This is one is a reminder: people can talk, they can throw around opinions, they can make up completely false narratives, but they don't get to define you.
