The Season I stopped

The Spark:
The piece began in a rush, like I was trying to out-paint everything I was carrying. The first layers came heavy, fast, unapologetic. It was less about planning and more about release.

The Middle:
The colours started stacking on top of each other - reds, magentas, deep contrasts. It felt dense, almost overwhelming. There was no space left to hide on the canvas.
The Quiet Rebellion:
And then I stopped. Not because I'd run out of energy, but because stopping was the most powerful thing I could do. Every bloom on this canvas marks the moment I refused to keep explaining or going over and over it. Sometimes rebellion isn't obvious, it's choosing not to move when your expected too.
The Message:
This painting holds pause - the proof that stopping isn't weakness. It's strength, recalibration and the beginning of something bigger.
